National Analysis
The project includes analyses of national data sets that examine the lives and experiences of low-income youth. The goal of the national analyses is to identify the life circumstances and transition points that present postsecondary opportunities and obstacles for low-income youth. Data sets analyzed include longitudinal data such as the Education Longitudinal Study (ELS) and The Add Health data that will allow researchers to trace young people’s trajectories out of school and into postsecondary education, employment, family formation and other post-college related circumstances.
